Our Story
Meet our founder, Gilbert Moore. Gilbert is a self-employed, certified electrical contractor based in Vancouver, BC. With over 12 years of experience in the field, Gilbert knows a thing or two about finding new clients, negotiating contracts, and self promotion.
In 2020 business was going well … and then COVID hit. Gilbert faced a significant setback with projects being halted due to COVID protocol. Unfortunately, because of the economic downturn he had to let go of some important employees and in an attempt to revive his business, he subscribed to several advertising agencies hoping for an upturn in business.
After three months without gaining momentum, Gilbert thought there had to be a better way. Through his frustration and determination Gilbert realized there was an opportunity for a platform dedicated to those in the home service industries and RepairFind was born.

RepairFind is a platform that will help you find local certified trades workers for your next home improvement project. Whether it be a repair, a new kitchen, or regular maintenance, we can connect you with the right skilled workers.
We want to take the hassle out of finding someone you can trust, whatever the project may be. It’s important for us that we provide you with a list of local contractors that have the certifications, the experience and the knowledge to get the job done right.
Here’s how it works:
Log in to the app, provide your location, and select the service you need. A list of professionals in your area will appear along with reviews and recommendations. Select up to three contractors to send your request to for a free estimate. Once you select your pro, continue to use our platform to communicate, plan, and send payment.
For the Pros
RepairFind Pro is a platform where construction trade professionals can connect with homeowners and customers without the burden of contracts or subscriptions. It is a one-stop shop for getting proposed projects, sending estimates, communicating with clients, sending invoices and receiving payment.
Here’s how to join:
Sign up and create your profile on the app. Choose the services you wish to provide and the area you prefer to work. Submit your required business verifications and get a background check. Once you are approved you can define your work schedule and choose to receive job notifications immediately!
